Street food has been a massive food trend for the past few years. For Greeks the favorite old time classic street food cannot be other than souvlaki. It doesn’t have to do anything with trends, is just a big part of the local food culture. “Kostas” is one of the best souvlaki places in Athens. It has a history that goes back to the 50’s when Grandfather Kostas started making delicious souvlaki in the heart of Plaka. Today his grandson Kostas has kept the same recipe and quality that made granddad’s souvlaki that special. The secret ingredients till today were always yoghurt and parsley.
