"Sports for life"

In recent years in both Greece and in the rest of the world, there has prevailed the “running” movement. People of all ages run, people of all ages and their supportive people of all ages attend. Many might argue that it is a fashion, a new trend that will be overcome over time and change. I honestly do not know if this will happen, but what I know and I would like to share with you is that sports and running are among the most priceless things in my life. Many times the first thing we ask is “why run”. What could be weird after a grueling day at work, is that you come back home and instead of putting on your pajamas, you wear your sports and go out for a run.

For me personally running is an inexhaustible source of energy, power and consciousness. Running on a daily basis, helped me to improve myself professionally because I gain much more valuable energy and freshness than I used to have when I smoked almost two packs of cigarettes. It gave me a boost to change my way of thinking and to think beyond than where my interest used to reach. Running gave me insight to the beauty of the planet I live in, urging me to be active towards it. Finally, running helped me to beat my selfishness, reminding me that humility in our life is the road to personal inner balance and harmony as well as professional development and success.

Life in the emirates is beautiful and offers many opportunities for new experiences at all levels, all you have to do is ... “seize these opportunities.”
